Yosemite Half Marathon route
Set in the stunning Sierra National Forest, approximately 10 miles south of Yosemite National Park, this course takes runners over mixed terrain for the first 4 miles then morphs into a gentle downhill for the next 9 or so miles and finishes on a flat route around Bass Lake. The downhill section means there is a strong chance you will be setting your next PB on this course and there is no better way to do that than with jaw dropping views of the Sierra Nevada's.
There will be multiple aid stations positioned approximately every 2 miles throughout the race. They will be well-stocked with electrolytes, snacks, water and toilets. Please note that this event is cup-free so runners should bring their own water bottles to refill or request a free HydraPouch when you register.
The cut-off time is 4 hours (~18 minutes per mile) which should give runners and walkers a generous buffer to get to the finish line and enjoy the satisfaction of finishing one of the most scenic runs in North America.
There will be two heats for this event and they are outlined below. Shuttles for each service operate at different times so please check the information below before your race day. The heats are based on your expected finish times so it is important to include this when you purchase your ticket.
