The Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation is pleased to announce our 20th Anniversary Reaching for the Cure Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, Kids Run will take place on Sunday, March 25, 2018, at Irvine Valley College. Together we will celebrate 20 years of life-saving research dollars raised at this event in honor of pediatric cancer warriors, patients, and survivors everywhere.
This course follows part of the Long Beach Marathon course along the scenic beach path with ocean breezes and beautiful views. Runners go 3.275 miles on the beach path, then reverse and go back 3.275 miles to the start twice for the half marathon, thrice for the marathon, and four times for the full marathon. For the 15K, runners go out 3.1 miles and back, and then out 1.55 miles and back. For the 10K, runners go out 3.1 miles and back, and for the 5K, runners go out 1.55 miles and back. Beach restrooms open at sunrise. Plenty of drinking fountains along the course.
N.B. EARLY START: Runners doing either the full or marathon must start at 5:30. All other racers have the option to start at either 5:30 or 7:00.

Memorial Day - May 27, 2019 - marks the 21st annual City of Laguna Hills Memorial Day Half Marathon, 5k, and 10K, Honoring the United States Marine Corps Dark Horse Battalion. This favorite Memorial Day running event takes place in the beautiful Orange County cities of Laguna Hills, Aliso Viejo, Laguna Woods, and Laguna Niguel. Runners and walkers of all experience levels are invited to come out and enjoy the Memorial Day festivities! With a half marathon (13.1 miles), 5K Run/Walk (3.1 miles), 10K Run/Walk (6.2 miles) and a Kid's Run (1/2 Mile), there is something for everyone!
Entering its 28th year, the Run For Education is not only a major fundraiser for El Segundos K-12 public schools but is also one of the more unique USATF certified 5k/10k courses in Southern California. Hosted by El Segundos PTA Council the Run For Education features a moderate coastal climate, as well as, a tour of downtown El Segundo and its local residential neighborhoods. Its a true sampling of small-town Americana.
It's time for the Beach Fun 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon!!! This is a fun run that is clock timed (not chip timed). Bib pick up will be at the start from 7:00AM - 7:30AM
