The Ron Jon Cocoa Beach Triathlon has established itself as a fun and challenging event and as one of Coastal Floridas favorite early season triathlons.

Always held the second weekend of April, our event draws a good mixture of Floridians and triathletes from more northern states anxious to escape the cold and get in a springtime race.

Our event is an enjoyable one for established athletes, but has proven itself as a great test for first time triathletes. We have twice been a Best First Timers Race national finalist in the Triathlon Business International annual awards.

My First Triathlon

This Sprint Triathlon is perfect for beginners; great speed workout for seasoned athletes consists. This is the first of a four race Summer Tri-Series starting with this race and ending in September.

The Donner Lake Triathlon is held at West End Beach on Donner Lake in Truckee California.

Truckee is one of those places that you'll want to live if you don't already. Noted by the editors of National Geographic Adventure as one of the worlds top ski towns, Truckee also offers those who love the mountains and outdoors with endless summer adventure opportunities.

Donner Lake is 2.7 miles long and 1/2 mile wide. The water is clear and clean with a maximum depth of 328 feet. West End Beach, operated by the Truckee Donner Recreation and Parks District, serves as the main venue. A sandy beach with majestic views of the surrounding Sierra Mountains awaits you.

The SuperSEAL Olympic triathlon and the SEAL Sprint triathlon are are held on the same day. The SuperSEAL athletes begin in earlier swim waves, followed by the SEAL Sprint athletes, and both groups race on the same course on the same day.

This much-loved local race takes place on Coronado, California's famous Silver Strand State Beach. It is an International/Olympic distance event, offering the perfect race for beginners and seasoned triathletes looking for a challenge in heart of triathlon's historic birthplace.

Olympic Course:

The course features a 1,500-meter swim in the Silver Strand State Beach Bay. The swim will be a calm bay swim. The water temperature will average 58 degrees. (Wetsuits are recommended.) The bike course will be a flat and fast 40K bike course that will consist of two loops on Hwy 75. The run course is one out-and-back loop covering a 10K course on a dirt trail.

SEAL Sprint:

The swim is an 800-meter/.5-mile swim in the Silver Strand State Beach Bay. The swim will be a calm bay swim. The water temperature will average 58 degrees. Wetsuits are recommended. The bike course will be a flat and fast 20km/12.4 -mile bike course that will consist of one loop on Hwy 75. Safety helmets are required for the bike portion of the race. The run course is an approximate 6km/3.1-mile course on a dirt trail. The run will be composed of one out-and-back loop.

Lake Berryessa is breathtakingly beautiful. This rugged, yet majestic natural setting is home to varied and beautiful Northern California wildlife such as swans, bald eagles, fox and whitetail deer. This location is one of THE premier triathlon venues on the planet. The course through Napa Valley will twist and turn alongside beautiful vistas.

PLEASE NOTE: All participants, volunteers and spectators must park in the campgrounds on the west side of Knoxville Rd. Campers in spaces 78-100 will not be permitted to enter or exit the race site between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

We kick off the summer with a classic sprint triathlon, The 25th Annual Morgan Hill Triathlon will be held at UVAS Reservoir in Morgan Hill, CA. This event sells out early every year as local and destination triathletes vie for one of the available entries to enjoy this unique sprint triathlon in the Silicon Valley.
