This will be a fully closed road event taking in the tranquil and picturesque lanes of the Wiltshire countryside, and the historic streets of Lacock itself. The route heads out of town, over some lovely stone bridges which cross the River Avon. Beautiful country roads take runners to the hamlet of Reybridge, and back round into Lacock itself. You can expect to post a good time on this flat course. 5km laps with 5k, 10k and half marathon options. Also 1km family fun run through Lacock Village.

Lacock Road Races

Lacock, Wiltshire, GB

The Cheddar Gorge Challenge has been taking places for the last 4 years across a series of summer dates. This year we are focusing on one date as we continue to expand our race series to new locations.

We have a NEW start/finish location, with accessible parking just a short flat walk to registration and the start line. The routes will remain largely unchanged as we are able to jump onto the existing routes from our new base, though as we are effectively starting mid way round the old courses, you will see the route in a differnt and arguably less hilly light.

NEW for 2017, the Cheddar Gorge Challenge in joining the National Trust's South West Outdoor Festival (SWOF). This is a celebration of everything outdoors with trail races, sportives, camping, live music, guest speakers, food foraging, axe throwing (not in the direction of the runners...the race is tough enough) and many others activities taking place across the long weekend of 8th - 10th September 2017.

Cheddar Gorge Challenge

Cheddar, GB

A truly special race that not only takes in many of Bath's beautiful attractions but also has the longest underground sections of any running race in the UK!

Cutting right under the city of Bath, the two tunnels offer a truly unique running experience. The Somerset & Dorset Railway closed in 1966 and until April 2013 the tunnels have been sealed and inaccessible. Thanks to the hard work and dedication of the Two Tunnels Group and Sustrans over 7 years, the two tunnels now have a new lease of life as a shared use path. The first tunnel; The Devonshire Tunnel is 408m long and the second Combe Down Tunnel is 1672m long. Both tunnels are well lit and well surfaced, and have recently been converted into a shared use path for the enjoyments of runners, walkers and cyclists looking to make the most of the city whilst remaining a flatter ground.

With a marathon, 3 different half marathons, 2 different 10kms, 5kms and 500m races there are events for all the family, and if they are not taking part, bring your friends and family to cheer you on; our start and finish will be in Brickfields Park in the middle of the city. A green park complete with children's playground and table tennis table, a great spot to sit and enjoy a picnic after the race.

Bath Two Tunnels Railway Races – July

Bath, Bath and North East Somerset, GB

A celebration of off-road running around the beautiful hills and valleys of Bath. All runs take in breath-taking views, and the longer the race, the more fantastic views (and hills) you will get. The half marathon and marathon routes include sections along the Kennet & Avon Canal and also some of toughest hills in and around Bath. Also 10k and 5k races, and 300m fun run.

Bath Running Festival

Timsbury, Bath and North East Somerset, GB

A fast out and back course with lots of PB potential through Bath's Combe Down and Devonshire Tunnels - disused railway tunnels which until 2013 were sealed and inaccessible. This unique and truly special race takes in many of Bath's beautiful attractions, and also has the longest underground sections of any running race in the UK! This is the first of 4 events in 2017, which offer something for all the family - a marathon, 3 different half marathons, 2 different 10ks, 5ks, 500m races and a Colourburst run for the kids. Start and finish will be in Brickfields Park in the middle of the City - a green park with children's playground, a great spot to sit and enjoy a picnic after the race.

Bath Two Tunnels Railway Races – August

Bath, Bath and North East Somerset, GB

Eastnor Castle is the home of the Land Rover test centre, over 60 miles of trails wind throught the deer park and woodland, which put the vehicles and drivers through the toughest of paces. We will be making the most of the terrain as it lies, picking the muddiest trails the estate has to offer. There will be a few natural obastcles, fallen trees to navigate, gullies to cross and of course, lots of mud to roll in! Between the mud, there are some good hills, but like all our events, everyone is always most welcome to come and take part.
