The Bishop Fleming Great West Run 2026 is now SOLD OUT!
Starting and finishing at Exeter Arena, the Half Marathon and 10K routes take runners through the heart of Exeter on fully closed roads, lined with incredible crowd support and an electric atmosphere. Alongside the main races, the Community Mile offers a fun, inclusive event for participants of all ages and abilities.
On Sunday 24 May 2026, we look forward to welcoming thousands of runners and spectators to Exeter for an unforgettable day of running and community spirit.

Starting and finishing at Exeter Arena, runners can take on the Half Marathon, 10K, or Community Mile on fully closed roads through Exeter city centre and surrounding countryside. With scenic routes, iconic landmarks, fantastic crowd support, plus multiple aid stations and activations along the route, the event delivers an unforgettable race-day atmosphere for runners of all abilities.

Get full directionsThe Event Village for the Bishop Fleming Great West Run 2026 is located at Exeter Arena, Exhibition Field, Summer Ln, Exeter EX4 8NT, UK.
Stagecoach will once again be operating shuttle buses between Exeter city centre and the Event Village before and after the event.
Shuttle buses will depart from Exeter City Centre Bus Station between 07:00 AM and 08:00 AM, running at regular intervals throughout the morning.
Drop-off location: Whipton Village Road – just a short walk from the Event Village.
Return shuttle buses will operate after participants finish, departing from the designated pick-up point near the Vaughan Road × Pinhoe Road junction and returning to the city centre.
Tickets can be purchased through your Let’s Do This account, or by creating an account using the same email address used to register for the event. You can also purchase spectator tickets for any support crew!
Bus tickets will be sent out 24-48 hours before the event!
A free Bike Park will be available within the Exeter Arena car park for both runners and spectators on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note there is no official event parking and no parking will be available at Exeter Arena on race day. If travelling by car, we recommend using city centre pay and display car parks and walking to the venue. If you are being dropped off, please use roads surrounding the arena and walk the final section to the Event Village.
Road closures and temporary traffic restrictions will be in place throughout race day to support the safe delivery of the event. Most road closures will begin from 7:00am, with roads reopening progressively from approximately 9:45am and all routes expected to reopen by 1:00pm. Clearly signed diversions and designated crossing points will be in operation, and we strongly advise allowing extra travel time when planning your journey.
