Starting and finishing at Exeter Arena, the Half Marathon and 10K take you through the heart of Exeter on fully closed roads with amazing crowd support all the way round. The Community Mile is also back, offering a fun and friendly event for all ages and abilities.

Expect a brilliant atmosphere from start to finish as the route winds through Exeter city centre, takes on the famous Exeter hills and passes some of the city’s best-known landmarks. Final course details and any minor updates will be confirmed closer to the event.

Please note there is no car parking available at the event village or on the adjacent roads for the event.
Shuttle Bus
Purchased tickets will be sent out 48 hours prior to the event.
Outbound journeys: Departing from Exeter City Centre Bus Station from 07:00 - 08:00, running at regular intervals Drop-off point: Whipton Village Road - a short walk to the Event Village
Return journeys: After the finish, buses will depart from the designated pick-up point near the Vaughan Road × Pinhoe Road junction, returning spectators to the city centre
Bike Parking
We’ll have a free bike park available for both participants and spectators. Please note that all bikes are left at the owner’s own risk.

Timings are subject to change and will be communicated closer to the event.
Race Packs
Race packs will be posted to participants in the month leading up to the event. Digital race guides will also be sent via email.
Bag Drop
A bag drop facility will be available to all participants in the race village. Please use the baggage tag tear-off attached to your running number.
Cut-off time
All runners have 3 hours 30 minutes to complete the course, measured from the moment you cross the start line. There is a 4-mile cut-off at 1 hour 10 minutes, set as part of our agreement with local stakeholders. If you’re behind the required pace at that point, our team may guide you onto the 10k route to keep you safely within the approved timings. At 3 hours 30 minutes, any participants still on the course will be asked to move onto the pavement due to strict road re-opening times.
Age Requirement
- All Half Marathon participants must be aged 17 or over on race day
- All 10K participants must be aged 15 or over on race day
- There is no minimum age for the Community Mile, although younger children should be accompanied by an adult.
