Ironman Austria-Kärnten

Every year IRONMAN Austria attracts 3,000 athletes from over 60 countries to compete in what has been described as the perfect triathlon landscape. Klagenfurt is situated at one end of the beautiful Lake Wörthersee with an average temperature of 22° C. After swimming, the athletes bike through the scenic landscape of Carinthia. The bike course, which has a Tour de France atmosphere, with two steep climbs on each loop. The run course along the lakeside and through the city is mainly flat and shaded.

IRONMAN Austria offers 40 qualifying slots for the 2018 IRONMAN World Championship in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.
