Route information

Long Route:
172KM
27 cobbled sectors between Busigny and the velodrome in Roubaix. The day starts early with a 5am bus transfer. From Busigny, there are some warm up cobble sections to get you ready for the big challenges. You hit three 5* sectors in all and this route proves a formidable challenge.

Medium Route:
145KM**
18 cobbled sections starting and ending in Roubaix with a baptism of fire at Arenberg. The start is at the velodrome and the first half of the ride is getting you out to the race route. Your introduction to the cobbles is the 5* Arenberg and hereafter it gets considerably easier.
**Short Route:
70KM**
7 cobbles including the 5* Carrefour de l'Arbre on this route out and back from Roubaix. The first 30km is on smooth roads getting you onto the Roubaix route. After a feed station you hit the first of 10 sectors. For a short ride, it should definitely not be underestimated.

To the venue:
The recommended options are to get the Eurostar to Lille which is around 15 minutes away or, alternatively, fly into either Brussels or Paris (approximately 1h30 and 2hrs away).
If you are riding the long route, there is a shuttle from Roubaix to Busigny leaving at 5.30am.

Our three star base for the Paris Roubaix Weekend. The Ibis Roubaix is a comfy 3 star hotel in the middle of town. There is a restaurant serving pizzas in the evening and the breakfast buffet is nice. Parking is available in their own private car park.

Our four star base in Roubaix is the Mercure. By far the best hotel option in town, rooms are comfy and there is a nice bar to drink away your sorrows / celebrate after the ride. There is a private bike storage room and there is a full breakfast from 5am on the morning of the sportive.

Event day logistics

Schedule:
Friday 12th April
1300: Warm up ride with local experts, who will also guide you through bike set-ups and how to navigate the unique pave.
Race packs will be delivered to your hotel today.
Sat 13th April
0530: Long route transfer leaves from central Roubaix
0700 - 1000: Short & Medium routes can enjoy a more leisurely start at any point between these times
Sun 14th April
Sunday is the pro race day - customers can enjoy all the on-course action all day or enjoy a lazy morning at the hotel before heading over to the Velodrome to catch the race on the big screen before cheering the riders over the finish line.
Please note that the Long Route starts at Busigny (Salle des fêtes – Rue Pasteur – 59137 Busigny) and the Short/Medium routes kick-off from the velodrome (Vélodrôme Couvert Régional Jean Stablinski – Rue Alexandre Fleming 59 – 59100 Roubaix).
