Route information
22 K & Up & Down Race Race - Both races are unique challenges taking runners over the Aare River that joins Lake Thun to Lake Brienz then up vertically into the terrain around the Harderkulm, a stunning viewpoint offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes, including the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau mountains, as well as both Lakes. The running is technical and engaged with some faster sections on the descents. The 42K route sees the 22 K extend into the gorgeous rolling valley of the Beatenberg area, where you’ll run alongside Lake Thun and through mountainous River gorges.
