Route information

Marathon
Running in Ibiza is pure adrenaline, and the Ibiza Marathon stands out among the top European marathons. This new race that will take place in the Balearic Islands at the beginning of spring will be different from any other marathon. It will be held in the evening so that runners can enjoy the spectacular views of Spain's most international island whilst they repeat the feat of Pheidippides' marathon.
Thousands of runners will run the 42.195k from Ibiza to Santa Eulària des Riu. This marathon pays close attention to detail so that runners can enjoy every inch of the route around the magical island. The race will also be supervised and certified by the RFEA (the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation), which will ensure a high sporting quality.
Sports, tourism and leisure merge in this very special weekend for runners and Ibiza. The city will welcome runners from every corner of the world, who will not only run but also enjoy the time they spend there with their friends and family.
22k
This race is the perfect sporting challenge for middle-distance lovers who want to start their season on the magical island of Ibiza.
With the beautiful town of Santa Gertrudis as a starting point, the race runs through part of the island to finish by the sea on the Paseo Marítimo de Santa Eulària des Riu.
The race's fantastic ending will allow runners to enjoy the sunset and experience the true essence of the #RunAndFeel spirit.
12k
A parallel 12k race completes the Santa Eulària Ibiza Marathon's packed running portfolio. The aim is for running enthusiasts to experience the island in a different way, by watching its beautiful sunset wearing their trainers and enjoying a weekend full of leisure activities designed for them.
The 12k is an unrivalled race that will share its finish line with the marathon, with both races located in Santa Eulària des Riu. The route will pass through the most popular spots on the island and will allow runners to watch the spectacular sunset over the Mediterranean Sea, which is considered to be among the best in the world.
Running the 12k of this unique race will be completely different from running a 10k, a distance that is more common at these kinds of events. The Run and Feel movement wants to reach more runners so that they can discover Ibiza for the first time or rediscover it from a different perspective: running a distance which is not as demanding as the 42.195k of the marathon.
This is a great opportunity for sports tourism for those travelling with a group or a companion.
Ibiza Kids Run Caixabank
There will be a free kids' race to introduce children and young people to running. This will take place at 10:00 on race day in the Marina Santa Eulària, and participants will be able to collect their bib numbers on the Friday at the Runner's Fair from 10:00 to 20:00.
This is a non-competitive, non-timed race, and refreshments will be available for runners at the finish line.
The following categories and distances are available:
  • Baby (born between 2019-2021): 250 metres
  • Iniciación (born between 2016-2018): 500 metres
  • Benjamines (under 10, born between 2014-2015): 500 metres
