Welcome to the very first edition of The Bay Aquathlon. This new open water Aquathlon series has three dates to choose from with an option to compete in the full series!
The Bay Aquathlon Series is suited for first timers & for more experienced competitors!
There is a 3-part series, which each individual race will consist of a 400m open water swim lap, with a 5k Run, ideal for beginner and first time open water swimmers!
If you are a more experienced athlete, there is a sprint distance with a 750m open water swim and a 5k run.
In addition, there is a Youth event for 13-15 year olds, featuring a 400m open water swim and a 5k run. This event will start shortly after the other races to allow a more relaxed environment!

Registration and Race Numbers
You will collect your swim cap, race number and timing chip on the day of the race when you register, and your number must be visible on your front for the whole race.
Please make sure you arrive early enough to park, register and get ready for your race.

Age Requirements
All participants must be aged 16 or older to participate in the series and sprint distance races.
You must be aged 13-15 to participate in the youth event.
If you enter the entire series, we will take your age category from the start of the first event and this will stay the same throughout the series.

Yes! Our 400m swim is a great distance for first time competitors
Is there a swim cut off time?
Yes! There is a 30 minute swim cut of time
Are there changing facilities at The Bay Aquathlon?
There will be toilets on site but we'd recommend you to come ready for race start!
Will there be parking available at The Bay Aquathlon?
