About
Team Marathon brings a new running format to London. Four people, one marathon, 26.2 miles split four ways. This isn't a traditional relay. Your team starts together, shares the experience, and reunites at the finish.
What's the day like? 🪩
Designed to be experienced. Expect waves throughout the afternoon, local food and drink, and live music and DJs built into the course. Once you've crossed the line you're straight into the mix. Cheer your mates over the line, get the team picture, grab a beer and get involved. The waves keep rolling.
Who's it for? ✋
All runners. Pick your four. Your fast friend, your hungover friend, or your work-hard, play-hard friend. Run a PB, don't run a PB, we don't care, just run. Everyone runs, everyone finishes, everyone does it at their own pace.

Route information
26.2 miles, shared by a team of four. You don't each run a marathon, you cover it between you, which is 6.55 miles each. All four of you run at the same time, not one after another, starting together and finishing together. The course is a circuit on grass and paths, so you loop the same track with your crew, your supporters and the whole party never more than a glance away. Cheer zones, stages, the lot, all right there on the circuit.
What's included
Your team entry and race pack, plus chip timing. Plus full access to the on-course party: live music, stages, cheer zones, and food and drink trackside.

Waves run through the afternoon, so you'll get your team's start time once it's confirmed. Arrive together, check in as a team, drop your bags, then head out as a four and cross the line together. After that you're straight into the celebrations on the course.

What is Team Marathon
Four runners. One marathon. 26.2 miles, split equally between four. Each person runs their leg their way, their pace. Your final runner crosses the line. The whole team reunites. That's Team Marathon.
How do we run our legs?
However you like. The distance is equal, roughly 6.55 miles each. What you do with those miles is entirely up to you. Fast, slow, backwards, sideways, we don't care. Just run and enjoy it.
Do we run together as a team?
This isn’t a traditional relay event. Your team will start together, whether you run together is up to you. Your official team finishing time is your four legs added together.
What if I don't have a team?
Yes. Individual tickets are on their way. Sign up solo and find your team along the way. If April 2027 arrives and you're still looking, we'll match you with other solo runners. Nobody runs alone.
Are there payment plans available?
Yes. Payment plans are available across all ticket types. Details on how to set one up will be confirmed when tickets go on sale.
What happens after we finish?
Cheer zones, brass bands and music stages all positioned around the course. Celebrate with food and drink from your favourite London spots.
How do I register for founding team tickets?
