Route information
Long Route
Distance: 104km
Elevation: 2220m
Percentage of Route Off Road: 90%
Arguably the best gravel riding in the UK, riders will head north from Aberfoyle into the Achray Forest. Here, riders can enjoy some climbs before travelling back south into the Loch Art Forest. Although the toughest climbs are in the first half of the route, there'll be a tough switchback climb near the base of Ben Lomond. Plenty of stunning views I will keep you distract before looping back to the race village via Loch Chron.
Medium Route
Distance: 74km
Elevation: 1450m
Percentage of Route Off Road: 85%
The medium route mirrors much of the long route but peels off at 71k and heads back to the race village via Loch Ard.
Short Route
Distance: 43km
Elevation: 950m
Percentage of Route Off Road: 80%
The short route follows the same challenging first 40k as the medium and long routes by starting with a tough 3k climb at 8% but then taking in some flatter Lochside gravel before finishing with a quick climb then 5k gravel descent to Aberfoyle.
