Route information

Join this weekend of amazing trail running in the Alps, offering runners spectacular scenery of Mont Blanc and alpine meadows. Over two days, you'll cover 30k of trails and 400m of ascent from the event base in the charming French spa town of Saint Gervais Les Bains, nestled underneath Mont Blanc.

Led by knowledgeable trail running guides who are ready to offer plenty of tips and guidance, this experience is perfect for those who have already completed a trail running trip in the Alps but also caters to those with no prior experience of alpine trail running. Runs will be complemented by local wine and cheese tasting and a post-run yoga class.

A deposit of £250 is taken at the time of sign-up with the balance taken 3 months before the trip is due to start. Total trip price is £685.

Getting to Saint Gervais Les Bains

Participants must book their own travel to the Alps. The closest airport to Saint Gervais Les Bains is Geneva.

Transport to/from Saint Gervais via Geneva can be booked through a range of minibus operators (Chamexpress, Mountain Drop-Offs, Alpybus, Chamonix Valley Transfers). The journey takes about 1.15 hours and must be booked in advance.

Accommodation

Entry includes 2 nights in the 4 star spa hotel Le Saint Gervais Hotel, which includes breakfast each morning. This is based on sharing a twin room. A single room can be requested for a supplement of £380.

The hotel's amenities include a spa with a heated indoor pool, jacuzzi and sauna.

Ability

This experience is suitable for anyone able to run 10k non-stop in under 70 minutes, and you must be able to tackle some uphill sections. However, run leaders will be on hand throughout the runs, so everyone from newcomers to trail running to experienced athletes will be catered for.

Runners will be grouped by ability to maximise enjoyment, and a free training plan can be accessed in the run-up to the trip.

Age Restrictions

You must be 16 or over to participate and run alone. However, those aged under 18 must have obtained parental or guardian consent.
