Route information

The Bowood House Triathlon is back, brought to you by RunThrough.

There are two distances to choose from - Sprint and Super Sprint. Both are fully contained on the grounds of the stunning Bowood House, meaning no traffic to contend with on the bike. The start and finish area is in the perfect spots for some photos, right in front of the house.

Swim - This open-water swim takes place in Bowood Lake. 750m for the Sprint distance and 400m for the Super Sprint.

Cycle - Occurs on the closed roads within the estate. 6 laps for the Sprint and 3 laps for the Super Sprint. Click here for a bike course map.

Run - A multi-terrain route with great views of the house. 2 laps for the Sprint and 1 lap for the Super Sprint. Click here for a run course map.

Tri Star 1 [age 9-10] - Wave 1 - 10:30 am

Swim - 200m; Bike - 3km; Run - 1.2km

Tri Star 2 [age 11-12] BOYS - Wave 2 - 10:45 am - Gear restricted / Drafting

Swim - 300m; Bike - 6km; Run - 1.8km

Tri Star 2 [age 11-12] GIRLS - Wave 3 - 11:00 am - Gear restricted / Drafting

Swim - 300m; Bike - 6km; Run - 1.8km

Tri Star 3 [age 13-14] BOYS - Wave 4 - 11:15 am - Gear restricted / Drafting

Swim - 400m; Bike - 9km; Run 2.4km

Tri Star 3 [age 13-14] GIRLS - Wave 5 - 11:30 am - Gear restricted / Drafting

Drafting races will be mass start.

All other races will be a rolling start, as you cross the timing mat, this will activate your start time.”
