Route information
The event will take place in Box End Park Lake near the beachside and just opposite the Aquapark.
Those in the 750m event will complete 1 lap of the course, and those in the 1500m event will complete 2 laps.
2.5k Participants will complete 2 laps, 3.8k participants will complete 3 laps round the buoys on the most easterly side of the lake before returning back to the Race Tent area.
Those in the 5k event will complete 4 laps of the course and will follow the 3.8k course before completing a final 1.2k.

Get full directionsBy Car
Follow the A421 then take the turning onto the A6 and arrive at Box End Park which is located just off the A6 roundabout opposite the Bedford Great Denham Golf Village.
Parking
There is free parking at the Box End Park Car Bay.

Facilities
There is a changing room at the event site including showers and lockers.
Event Rules
Diving is not allowed at the event.
Participants can swim in either front crawl or breaststroke. If they are struggling to complete the course they should inform a kayak marshall by turning onto their backs and raising an arm. Marshalls can then rescue them.
Kit
Wetsuits are optional.
Results
All results will be chip-timed and posted to the Results Base website after the event.

Participants will receive race packs that include a discount code.

Please note that there are no refunds if you cancel within 2 weeks leading up to race day.
