Route information
Rich in local history and thriving open-water swimming community, this event aims to showcase the beauty of Brixham’s coastline while promoting environmental awareness, community spirit, and sustainable practices.
The swim will be a choice of skins or wetsuit, any front stroke and the sign up fee includes your race hat, timings, post swim sports drink, post hot chocolate, full professional safety cover and a finishers medal.
The 2km swim is open to anyone age 16+. Anyone age 16 or 17 will need to swim with a chaperone at the side for the whole swim.
The course is 2km, staring at the slipway, swimming out along the breakwater, turning around the lighthouse, and swimming back into breakwater beach.
This swim can be swim in 'skins' or wetsuit, and you can swim using any front stroke (front crawl, breaststroke...even butterfly and doggy paddle!)

Get full directionsYou can park at either the Marina Multi Storey car park (400+ spaces), opposite the race start.
You can also park at Shoalstone Sea Water Pool, and it is a short walk down the road to race HQ.
