Route information
Distance: 20 Miles
Starting at Tonbridge Castle, you will take the trails to the Shoe Tree, the edges of Bough Beech Reservoir, through the grounds of Hever Castle, Chiddingstone Castle, as well as a trip to the Chiding Stone itself, before you head back towards Tonbridge Castle via Penshurst Place on the Tudor Trail.
This is most definitely not a race, we will run as a group and enjoy the trails together, please ensure you have the appropriate level of fitness to complete this run, I advise that you have run at least 15 miles in training before trying this event, you should be able to comfortably run an average pace of 12 min/miles – 7:30 min/km.

Pace
It is advisable that you would have run at least 15 miles during training in one continuous run prior to entering this event.
You should be able to comfortably run an average pace of 12 min/miles - 7:30 min/km for sustained periods of time and have an appropriate level of fitness for the event.
Self-Supported Run
Please note that this is a self supported event so you will need to carry with you all the food & drink you will need. There will be an opportunity to re-stock your supplies along the way at around 13/14miles at a local shop.
What to wear and bring?
• Worn in trail running shoes (Essential)
• Waterproof jacket (COMPULSORY)
• Foil blanket or survival bag (COMPULSORY)
• Basic medical supplies
• Hat and gloves if cold
• Spare top if cold
• Phone with a full charge
• Any food or gels you may need on the run
• Water, electrolyte drink I recommend you bring at least 1litre
• Toilet paper
• Money
We will have an opportunity to take a short pitstop to replenish any supplies at local shop in Chiddingstone at around 13 miles.
