Route information
The marathon and half-marathon routes loop clockwise around the banks of Caldecotte Lake, famed for its parkland and the home of Milton Keynes Rowing Club. Home to a range of wildlife, the Lake boasts bird hides, waterfowl and dragonflies, and is a favourite with anglers, who are attracted by its populations of perch, carp and bream.

The race start is easily accessible off of the A5 and is located 3 miles from the M1. There is free parking available at the Caldecotte Lake Car Park, Bletcham Way. There is also parking located on the north and south shores of the Lake.

The nearest train stations are Bow Brickhill and Fenny Stratford, located a twenty and twenty-five minute walk from the race start.

Time Limits
Both the marathon and half marathon events have set time restrictions. The marathon has a time limit of 7 hours, whilst half marathon participants must finish within the cut-off time of 3 hours 30 minutes. Any entrants unable to finish within these time windows will be recorded as a DNF.
Age Requirements
Entrants must be 18 years or over on race day.
