TENTH FIELD CIRCUIT is a mixed-terrain urban running event taking place at Lee Valley VeloPark in East London on Saturday 24 October 2026.
One circuit. Two race formats.
INDIVIDUAL FIELD is an individual competition progressing through Field Qualifying and Grid TT to the night Final.
COMMUNITY FIELD RELAY is a separate six-person team competition, independently timed and ranked with its own results and podium.
Designed for runners aged 18 and over, the event brings together competition, community and contemporary running culture within one of London’s most distinctive sporting environments.
Individual entry is £25 per runner. Community Field Relay entry is £150 per team of six. Entry fees are non-refundable, subject to the Event Entry Terms.

Route information
The event takes place on one shared Road and Trail circuit at Lee Valley VeloPark.
The course consists of:
• Road Loop: approximately 660 metres• Trail Loop: approximately 1.4 kilometres
The course combines surfaced sections with outdoor trail terrain, including changes in surface, direction and elevation. Participants should be prepared for uneven ground and potentially wet autumn conditions.
INDIVIDUAL FIELD
Field Qualifying is completed over eight laps: four Road and four Trail.
Across Laps 01–07, athletes complete four Trail laps and three Road laps in an open sequence. Lap 08 is Road only.
The highest-placed athletes progress to Grid TT and the night Final.
Grid TT consists of one individually timed 660-metre Road loop. Results determine the Final starting grid only and do not carry into the Final.
The Final is completed over 12 laps: six Road and six Trail. Lap 12 is Road only.
COMMUNITY FIELD RELAY
Each team consists of six runners: three women and three men.
Every runner completes one Road lap and one Trail lap, in either order, before passing the timing baton to the next teammate.
The Relay is independently timed and ranked, with its own results and podium. Relay results do not affect Individual Field qualification or Grid TT positions.
Final course measurements and competition rules will be confirmed in the official race guide.

The venue is approximately a 20-minute walk from Stratford, Stratford International, Hackney Wick and Leyton stations.
Local bus services also stop near Lee Valley VeloPark. Bicycle storage is available at the venue.
Parking is limited, so participants and spectators are strongly encouraged to travel by public transport, bicycle or on foot where possible.

The overall event programme will operate between 13:00 and 22:00 on Saturday 24 October 2026.
Participants are not required to arrive at 13:00 unless stated in their assigned race instructions. Each participant or Relay team will receive a specific check-in window, briefing time and start time before race day.
Please arrive during your allocated check-in period and allow sufficient time to collect your race bib, complete registration checks and attend the mandatory race briefing.
Participants must bring their registration confirmation and valid photographic identification.
Final wave times, qualification arrangements, Relay procedures and Field Final timings will be published in the official race guide and communicated by email before the event.
All participants must follow instructions issued by event staff, course marshals, medical personnel and venue representatives.
FAQs
How does the Individual Field format work?
The Individual Field progresses through three competition stages: 1. Field Qualifying 2. Grid TT 3. Field Final Field Qualifying is completed over eight laps. During laps 01-07, athletes complete four Trail laps and three Road laps in an open sequence. Lap 08 is completed on the Road loop. The highest-placed qualifying athletes progress to Grid TT and the Field Final. Before the Final, each qualified athlete completes one timed Road loop in Grid TT. Grid TT determines the starting order for the Final; its times do not carry into the Final result. The Field Final is contested over 12 laps: six Trail laps and six Road laps. Athletes determine their own Road and Trail sequence before entering the final Road-only lap.
How long are the Road and Trail loops?
The course consists of: • Road Loop: approximately 660 metres • Trail Loop: approximately 1,230 metres Final course measurements may be adjusted following installation, testing and official course verification.
How are Road and Trail laps recorded?
Each participant's laps and times are recorded using an RFID timing system. Course timing points and event officials will record which loop has been completed. Participants remain responsible for following the required Road and Trail
What happens if I complete the wrong number of Road or Trail laps?
Participants must complete the prescribed number of Road and Trail laps. Missing'a lap, completing an additional lap or entering the wrong terrain may result in a time penalty, loss of position or disqualification. The final decision will be made by the race officials under the published race rules.
