Great run for preparation for the London marathon! Very hilly and very windy!! The atmosphere I am sure would have been better if the weather was better. I saw loads of shirt numbers had not been collected before the run which meant the course was not busy at all. The marshalls were great with getting you across the road with the traffic etc. I will be going back… read more

The marshalls were well distributed and super enthusiastic and encouraging The course was a bit repetitive, and roads weren't closed so had to dodge traffic at times (appreciate London a bit limiting). However marshalls were fantastic at stopping traffic where they could to let runners cross. Was surprised that the race briefing didn't nod to the weather warnings so made me wonder if risks were assessed (50mph winds and weather warnings forecast, had to watch out for falling branches while running)… read more

This is my first time doing the Hillingdon20, also the first time I've ran past 15 miles.Don't think I would have been able to do it as easy as I did without the marshals. They were keeping everyone in high spirits from start to finish even tho they were just standing in that horrible weather for as long as they were so thank you.… read more

Well organised, loads of very helpful and enthusiastic Marshalls. Nice, low key event. 4 laps makes it a bit repetitive but good, safe course

A new course this year and much better as its off the main roads and all on pavements. Still four 5 mile laps but I found that quite a good way of breaking it into manageable chunks given it was a very windy day!
