Route information
This event sees runners take on as much or as little running as they want. They'll complete laps of a flat 4.38 mile course on hard wearing path, and can run as far as they wish, as long as it can be done in 6 hours.
So whether you want to try your hand at a new distance, or push yourself further than you've ever gone before, this race is perfect for you. With an aid station at the lap start/finish, you can take the course at whatever pace you'd like, all in one go, or spreading your laps out, its up to you. The course is flat on good quality surfaces so runners could even look to run a personal best time.
Below are the number of laps that a runner would need to complete to run a specific distance:
-
1 Lap - 4.38 miles
-
3 Laps - Half Marathon
-
6 Laps - Marathon
-
7 Laps - Ultra Marathon
Only completed laps within the 6 hours will be recorded and you must have left the aid station for your last lap by 15:30. Runners will be given a laminated card and cable tie to attach to you which must be hole punched each lap.
Every runner who completes 1 lap or more will receive their finish time and completed distance, as well as their goody bag and finisher's medal.
