How to get there
Gin Pit Colliery, Ley Rd, Tyldesley, Manchester M29 7DL, UK
Get full directionsThere is a car park in front of the Welfare Club but it is limited. If you are able to car share then it would be appreciated. Ley Road which leads up to the club is narrow and we ask runners not to park on it as it soon becomes difficult for cars to get up and down the road. This can cause problems for the local residents of the Gin pit Village. If the car park is full, please can you park on the surround roads at the bottom of Ley Road and walk up to the club. Please can you be mindful of local residents when parking your car so they can still get about while we are out running.
