About
The Haltemprice 10k is one of East Yorkshire's oldest running events. Benefitting from a closed road route, the course is slightly uphill for the first half before a speedy descent back to the finish line, where you'll claim your medal. Come for the scenic villages and Northern hospitality.

Route information
Having taken place since 1987 the Haltemprice 10k is now one of East Yorkshire’s oldest running events.
The race starts and finishes on South Ella Way in Kirkella. You will then run up through the pretty village of Westella before an undulating loop around Swanland and returning to Southella Way. The first half of the course is gradually uphill but then you are rewarded with a wonderful downhill return stretch to collect your traditional finishers mug. It is a fully closed road route, providing a safe course for your first 10k or a new PB.
Note, there is a 90-minute cut off at this event due to road closures.

Get full directionsPlease car share as much as possible. Limited car parking is available at Haltemprice Leisure Centre, Springfield Way, Anlaby, HU10 6QJ. Please access the car park off Gorton Road. There are dedicated spaces for the event only and any other spaces are reserved for regular users of the centre and you must not park in them.
Additional parking can be found on the King George V playing fields off Beverley Road, Kirkella or the retail park on Springfield Way (no arrangements have been made for either location) and some on street parking.

Age Requirements
All runners must be aged 15 or older on the day of the event.
Race Packs
All race packs will be collected on the day of the event from registration, which will be held at Haltemprice Leisure Centre.
