Route information

Come and take part in this brand-new event in Hemel Hempstead. This is a fully closed-road 10k route. The event starts and finishes outside the Riverside Shopping Centre.

The 10k (6.2 miles) route is undulating and takes place exclusively on concrete roads and paths. After setting of outside the Riverside Shopping Centre participants make their way passed the Water Gardens before heading through Hemel Hempstead town centre, the High Street of the Old Town, and Gadebridge Park.

By Train

The nearest train station is Hemel Hempstead which is a 20-minute walk to the start.

By Car

Riverside Shopping Centre is roughly a 10-minute drive from Junction 8 of the M1.

Parking

There is paid parking at Riverside Car Park. Other options include Moor End Car Park and Marlowes Car Park.

Registration

Please arrive at least 45 minutes before the start of the race to allow plenty of time to register, attach your race number, drop your bag and warm up. Registration will be found within the race village outside of the Riverside Shopping Centre.

Cut Off

There is a cut off time of 90 minutes for this event.

Age Requirements

Runners for the 5k must be aged 11 or over and runners for the 10k must be aged 15 or over.

Headphones

It is not recommended that you wear headphones during the race so you stay alert to what is going on around you and hear the encouragement from marshals and spectators. There will also be pedestrians on the paths you'll be running who you'll need to be aware of.
