The Wild Horse Llandudno Triathlon & Duathlon showcases the very best of North Wales, combining coastal scenery with fast, traffic-free racing.

Swim

Triathlon athletes begin with a sea swim in Llandudno Bay, starting close to the town's iconic Victorian Pier. The swim takes place in the sheltered waters of the Irish Sea, creating a spectacular setting for competitors and spectators alike.

Bike

The highlight of the race is the fully closed-road bike course around the Great Orme. Athletes ride along Marine Drive, one of the UK's most scenic coastal roads, with uninterrupted sea views, dramatic limestone cliffs, and sweeping bends throughout.

The closed-road format creates a safe, exciting racing environment and offers a rare opportunity to ride one of Wales' most famous roads free from traffic.

Run
