When will I receive my race number and pack for the London Duathlon?
All race numbers and packs will be picked up on the morning of the event - Sunday 4 September. Please arrive at least 90 minutes before your start time to allow enough time to collect your race pack.
ChevronLeft
Are there water stations during the London Duathlon?
There will be a number of water stations during each distance respectively. There will be water stations on the bike route but only for the Ultra participants - it is your responsibility to ensure that you have enough fluid to keep yourself hydrated on the bike leg.

Can I listen to my own personal music while I compete during the London Duathlon?
Unfortunately, no headphones are allowed. The safety of all participants is paramount and through wearing headphones you will be less likely to hear other competitors or marshals, which could become a hazard on route. You may be disqualified if you are seen wearing them, either on route or in transition.
ChevronLeft

Disc brakes are allowed as this is a non-drafting event. Disc wheels also permitted at the event, however this may be amended should the Event Organiser and Technical Official decide in the interest of safety, such as high winds.
ChevronLeft
How do I use a number belt for the London Duathlon?
A number belt is an elasticated belt that carries your race number and allows you to swap it from front on the runs to the back on the bike - it also means that you don't have to put safety pins through your clothing! You simply attach your number to the race belt and then put the race belt around you.
ChevronLeft
How early should I arrive for the London Duathlon?
Please arrive approximately 60 minutes before your start time to get your gear set up in the correct row in transition before warming up and making your way to the start line.

As a relay participant it was frustrating that a randomly selected team captain determines the team's gender/ age category. We were a mixed male-female team but ranked as male in the results. Also, a shame that no one other than the team captain gets mentioned in the results - feel a bit cheated as very expensive to not even get a mention in the results or be searchable to friends and family. If teams could say who is running/ cycling in advance then maybe everyone could feel part of it not just one person.

Directions and location for car park we’re terrible. Why charge someone for on-site parking which was miles away.

It was my first race on bike. I have been running marathons. I wanted to see the transitions, so we did relay as my wife the runner and me the cyclist. It looked much easier transition than the ones on triathlon I think. Just change the shoes, you are off to go on bike! This duathlon is just great especially for first-timers! I recommend to everyone for sure!

Great event, I have done it since 2019 and it is always an amazing day - the vibe, the route and the weather, as well, has been great today.

2nd year doing it.....and absolutely loved it both years! I beat my previous time which I'm over the moon with. And will aim to do the same next time too.Atmosphere was sightly better last year, maybe because it was a hotter day last year? But honestly, the event is run so so smoothly & the staff were so good and helpful.Thanks,Taylor.

Thoroughly enjoyed it. Good atmosphere, very friendly. Well organised transition, etc. There was some slight confusion with the Marshalls as to the logistics , at what time the track closed, etc, but the vast majority of staff were all very supportive and tried to be as helpful as possible

Overall the event was very good. However splitting the road 50/50 for cyclists and runners on a number of occasions caused issues with the cause clogging up. Especially on fast stretches like the Sawyer Hill descent, which felt dangerous.
