Lower Broadheath - Elgar’s Birthplace Trail Run

This largely trail based run takes you over the fields of Lower Broadheath, with fantastic views towards the Malverns, Bredon Hill and the cathedral city of Worcester, making it a great entry event for those interested in exploring trail running. Proceeds from the event will be shared between Acorns Hospice and the Lower Broadheath Open Space Development Fund.

Both the 10k and 5k routes are circular, starting opposite the village hall. The 5k route will take in Lower Broadheath’s popular common, which acts a great place to watch the race go by whilst enjoying some breakfast at either of the village's pubs, the Dewdrop and the Bell. The 10k route follows the same route as the 5k, with an additional loop taking in rolling fields, lanes and farm land.
