Join us for the Manchester Training Night on Tuesday 25th August 2026!
Take your training further with a free coach-led session at Longford Park Stadium, Manchester, delivered by our experienced RunThrough Coaches.
This structured training night is designed to help runners improve endurance, pacing and running efficiency through a pyramid fartlek session, alongside guided running drills focused on movement skills, form and confidence. Our coaches will also share practical insights into the key principles of endurance training and effective pacing.
The session will include : 1 min effort, 2 min effort, 3 min effort, 4min effort, 3 min effort, 2 min effort, 1 min effort all with 90s recovery in between.
This pyramid fartlek session is designed to develop aerobic capacity, speed endurance and lactate tolerance by gradually increasing and then decreasing effort durations within one continuous session. It helps runners practise controlled pacing, manage fatigue and maintain good form when working across different intensities.

A coach-led training night delivered by our experienced Runthrough Coaches featuring a structured track session alongside practical insights into the key principles of endurance training and effective pacing.
Participants will also take part in guided running-drill sessions designed to develop confidence in learning and applying new movement skills. These drills aim to improve running mechanics, enhance efficiency and ultimately support stronger running performance.
