Route information
Come and join us for the return of the Media City Half Marathon! This two-lapped road closed course is flat, fast and perfect for a PB. Starting and finishing at Media City UK, the route features two laps on the roads around Salford and Eccles, and on footpaths around Salford Quays. Each mile will be accurately marked out and we have plenty of marshals to encourage you on your way to the finish line.

Get full directionsPARKING/TRAVEL
There is no specific event parking for the event. Entry into the Media City multistorey car park will close at 8.30am due to road closures, we advise arriving before 8am if you plan to use this car park as there will likely be queues on arrival. We recommend using the Lowry Outlet car park which is a short walk from the venue and is outside of the road closure area.
Event day logistics
09:00 am - Half Marathon start
12:30 pm - Race End
CUT-OFF
Please note there is a 3 hour cut off on this race due to road closures in place
MINIMUM AGES
17 Years and above
BAGGAGE
We will have a secure marquee where you can leave your baggage. We recommend you bring as little baggage as possible. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simply tear it off and attach to your bag. To collect, show your number to our staff and they will help you find your baggage.
TOILETS
There will be portable toilets available within the event village. Due to the 2-lap nature of the course, you will also be able to access these toilets during the race.
REFRESHMENTS
There will be water stations at approximately 2.5, 4.5, 6.5, 9.5 and 12 miles. There will also be water available at the finish along with your post race goodies and medal.
RESULTS
Results will be available here immediately after the race.
