Route information
The first part of the Duathlon is a 6k partly off-road run through the tranquil countryside. As you return to the house, the transition area is right at the front for a quick change before hopping on your bike for a 24k road cycle along quiet country lanes.
If you didn't appreciate the scenery enough the first time around, the second 6k run runs the same route, finishing back at the Lodge for a BBQ.
The purpose of this event is to raise money for Cancer Research UK and Harrison's Fund. All proceeds will go to the charities, with no costs deducted.

I've done this every year since its inception. The organisers give ALL the proceeds to two great causes and it is a really friendly event where the kids are as welcome as the adult competitors and the course is through some lovely and challenging scenery. Nice relaxed vibe, excellent catering as well as some hard running and cycling!!

A really fun and friendly, well run event. Routes run through beautiful scenery with enough challenges to make you feel proud to finish whether a first timer or more experienced
