Challenge yourself on the undulating, fully closed roads of the Newmarket Half Marathon, a scenic and motivating route perfect for runners of all abilities. Taking place on Sunday 23rd May 2027, this chip-timed event starts and finishes at the iconic Newmarket Racecourse, offering a one-lap tarmac course with rolling countryside views.

There is free parking on site at Newmarket Racecourse. Please arrive early, as with all large scale events, expect some delays on arrival.
Event day logistics
09:00 am - Half Marathon start
12:00 pm - Race End
CUT-OFF TIME
Please note there is a 3 hour cut off on this race due to road closures in place.
MINIMUM AGES
17 years and above
BAGGAGE
We will have a secure area where you can leave your baggage. We recommend you bring as little baggage as possible. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simply tear it off and attach it to your bag. To collect, show your number to our staff and they will help you find your baggage.
TOILETS
There will be toilet facilities available on site around the race course.
We will provide portaloos on course at the 9km and 15km mark, they will be located by one of the water stations.
REFRESHMENTS
There will be water provided approximately every 5km, and there will also be water available at the finish along with your post race goodies and medal.
RESULTS
Results will be available here immediately after the race.
