Route information

Our run starts from Brockhill Country Pak and will be covering a distance of 8 miles. We will explore parts of the Saxon Shore Way, passing Lympne Castle, a picturesque Grade 1 listed building dating back to the 12th Century as well as the remains of Stutfall Castle which is thought to have been abandoned in AD 350. We will descend down a footpath which runs along the edges of Port Lympne Wildlife Park (if we are lucky we may see an animal or two, no guarantee though), beforel heading along the Royal Military Canal to pick-up the path to take us back up to enjoy views of the coast towards Hythe. Finally, we will make our way back to our start point at Brockhill Country Park and a well earned cuppa.

What's included

  • Guided by an experienced Trail Runner & UK Athletics Coach
  • 8 miles of trails with points of interest along the way
