Car: Burghley House is located 1 mile from Stamford and 10 miles north west of Peterborough. It is most accessible from the A1. Attendees travelling both north and southbound on the A1 should use the B1081 junction rather than the A43 junction, following the yellow and black directional signage for the event. There will also be event directional signage on the A1175 in to Stamford.
Parking: A Standard Parking ticket is for the weekend. It is £10 per car in advance or £15 per car in cash on the day. Your parking ticket will be valid from Friday afternoon until Sunday lunchtime. You can re-enter with the same parking ticket should you leave the site and return.
Train: The closest station to Burghley is Stamford, approximately 1 mile from the entrance to Burghley. Stamford is served by Cross-Country trains running between London and Edinburgh via Peterborough.
Bus: There is an hourly bus service run by Delaine Buses which serves the outlying villages and connects Peterborough to Stamford.

Event day logistics

Schedule:
07:45 First Wave
13:00 Last Wave
14:30 Young Mucker start
Please arrive at least 45 minutes prior to your wave's start time.
Waves begin for the Full Mucker and Half Mucker every 15 minutes from 07:45 onwards. Double Mucker participants must set off in Wave 1 and return from their 2nd lap of the course before 13:00.

Can I bring my dog to Dirty Weekend?
Dogs are allowed in the event village, but not in the campsite area
Is camping included in the entry fee for Dirty Weekend?
No, if you would like to camp, you must purchase a camping ticket.
How do I train for Dirty Weekend?
Rat Race will be releasing a training plan nearer the time, however the most important thing to remember is that you should be getting consistent miles under your belt.
