Course flat and fast, which is excellent. Only minor gripes are that you're running along busy roads for the majority of the course (car pollution), tarmac pavements after Hampton Court station are uneven and a bit dodgy on the ankles and lastly not all side roads are marshalled, so other road users can't be controlled when crossing the path. Organisation (apart from odd side road marshalling) was excellent as was the overall atmos

Not the organiser's fault but the course was almost a mile longer due to roadworks....!

Felt organised enough. I was t a fan of running the extra 4 miles and it wasn’t measure correctly. It was unclear where the last lap was for the 20 mile and I ended up just turning around a man

It would be great to have more music/support when coming up to and arriving at the finish line. It's such an achievement finishing a race and having that fanfare makes an incredible difference. More toilets would have helped as the queue was quite long at all times. I enjoyed the course and didn't mind having to do two laps of the same circuit. It was long enough and enjoyable enough that repeating the loop didn't feel tough mentally. What was difficult was running back on myself for the last 6/7 km on the 20 mile course. I appreciate that options were probably limited when it comes to course design but it did make the last bit of a tough distance even harder (and not in a positive challenging way.) Overall though, I would definitely recommend the race and would still consider using it again for marathon prep. All of the marshals were supportive and kind and there was a great atmosphere at the start/finish line.

Great day, Marshall’s were fab. For 16-20m course you need a toilet somewhere on the course! I had to dash into the co-op and use staff toilets
