Route information
This event is designed to treat all participants equally, and give every entrant the opportunity to challenge themselves in a way that suits them.
This 8-hour event will see participants completing as many or as few laps of the 5k loop as they choose. There will be a pit stop every 5k with coaches and food & drink to ensure you're ready for your next loop.
When you've completed as many laps as you can, ring the bell and your distance will be recorded. It doesn't matter what the distance is, just that you take part and keep moving forward.

Age Requirements
All entrants must be 18 and older to enter the event.
Aid Stations
There will be an aid station at the checkpoint. This will have water, squash and Jordans bars. You are welcome to bring your own snacks/fuel to leave at the aid station. Equally, the car park is on the route so if you prefer to leave your bags and fuel in your car, you will be able to access them easily.

How far do I have to run in the Run the Sun?
There is no set distance all runners must run at this event, as long as you can run a 5k loop, you can enter this event, and run as far as you'd like.
How long do I have to run at the Run the Sun?
Runners will have from sunset to sundown to run as many laps as they can. You don't have to be running the whole time, take it at your own pace.
Will I receive a medal for taking part in the Run the Sun event?
Yes, all runners who complete at least one lap of the 5k course will receive a medal.
