After selling out the inaugural Run The Wharf in 2025 and then again doubling in size in 2026, Friday Night Lights are back to bring a running experience like no other to Canary Wharf. Finessing our improved race route and working on the after-party… Boy oh boy, it’ll be one to remember. Do not miss out!
Log off and line up on Sept 2nd for Run The Wharf, a fast-paced 5K race, a Friday Night Lights party run, and after after-work social set in the iconic heart of Canary Wharf. Whether you're racing for a personal best or just here for the vibes, this unique city run delivers energy, atmosphere, and unbeatable views.
You’ll be running through the slick streets of Canary Wharf, past the glass towers, gardens and through the largest urban regeneration projects in Europe.
Finish running and head to our music areas, bars, and food vendors and enjoy the curated social late into the evening. We’ve got an after-party to boot with a knees up on Canada Square Park keeping you entertained throughout the night. And FYI running shoes work incredibly well as dancing shoes…
This is a race, a reset, and a reminder that there's more to the Wharf than work.

Our new and revamped 5k route through the heart of Canary Wharf, the 5k road route creates a highly immersive track experience complete with audio and visual effects bringing the night to life with this new style of running in London. A totally unique experience.
What's included
The Run The Wharf event site is open from 18:00 to 23:00, with the race taking place in the evening at 19:30, surrounded by people, parties, and post-run beers on Canada Square in the London sunset and into the night.

The event site opens at 18:00 and finishes at 23:00.
Race bibs ordered before August 12th will be posted to you within 1 week of the event. If you do not receive your bib you will have to collect from the Canary Wharf Suite on Montgomery Square on the 1st or 2nd of September between 11:00 - 14:00 OR 16:00 - 20:00. There is no bib collection on the day.
Bibs ordered on or after August 12th will have to be collected from the Canary Wharf Suite on Montgomery Square on the 31st August or 1st September between 11:00 - 14:00 OR 16:00 - 20:00. There is no bib collection on the day.
