Route information

The trails vary from pine woods to rocky exposed routes, something for everyone. The organisers pick some really beautiful 13k (approx.) trails for you whilst you which show off the valley at its best. They will also look at some of the trail techniques that will make you a more proficient trail runner. You will get some breath taking views of Mt Blanc as well as the Aiguilles (needles).
Since this holiday is focused on comfort, running and yoga, the trail runs will last around 3.5 hours a day followed by an alpine yoga session leaving you relaxed and ready to enjoy the rest of each day; to relax and explore Chamonix, and even take a trip up to the Aiguille du Midi.

Accommodation
2 nights in a 4 star spa hotel at Le Refuge des Aiglons (or similar alternative) located in the centre of Chamonix. Accommodation includes breakfast each morning and an evening meal at one of Chamonix's highly rated restaurants. The rooms will be on a twin sharing basis, unless you have requested a single room (which if available, there is a supplement).
You'll have access to the spa which has a heated outdoor pool, hot tub, steam room and sauna, the hotel also has an outdoor space to relax in and free WiFi as well as a beautiful atrium bar area.
Transport
Transport to/from Chamonix via Geneva can be booked with one of the many minibus operators, such as Chamexpress, Mountain Drop-Offs, Alpybus or Swiss Tours. The journey takes around 1.25hrs and needs to be booked before travelling.

Enjoy this beautiful route providing another perspective on the Chamonix valley and surrounding peaks. One of the checkpoints provides seasonal produce, and then head up to the glacier rewarding you with epic views. From there it’s a beautiful gentle run down to the hotel. This leaves you plenty of time to relax by the pool before taking transport back to Geneva.
Ability
This holiday is aimed at yogi runners looking for an introduction to running trails in the Alps. You'll be taught some key principles of yoga to help you run more efficiently and safely. The trails run can be adjusted to suit the ability of the group so there's no pressure to be a prolific trail runner. Experienced and qualified Lead Runners will guide the runs and offer extra support along the way.
After each of the runs in the Alps, runners will be guided through yoga classes, suitable for all levels including beginners. Aimed to support your running, the restorative sessions will release any muscle tension accumulated during the day in the hills, as well as working on flexibility and strength.
