Find 5 friends and head to Windsor Castle for the Runnymede Relays. A well-organised and simple event will see teams of 6 take on legs of 3.5 undulating miles in the stunning Windsor Great Park. Designed to appeal to athletes of all abilities, it promises to be a great day of summer running fun.

Windsor Great Park Relay Race routes

Set in the stunning undulating grounds of Windsor Great Park in the shadow of Windsor Castle, this six-person relay event is set to be an awesome day of running to add to your summer social calendar.

Each team will be comprised of six runners, which must include at least one member of the opposite sex, and no more than 3 males aged 16 - 39. Each runner is only allowed to run one of the legs.

The legs are each approximately 3.5 miles and all start and finish in the same location, making the changeovers as seamless as possible. There will be no chip timing, just a good old-fashioned stopwatch and pen & paper, ensuring that this remains remains a relaxed and care-free environment.

There will be a fun run provided for under 12s, and the stunning grounds of Windsor Great Park make this event ideal for a picnic day out.

Over 60s Race:

There will be a category specifically for teams over 60. It will be the same layout, and each team must have at least one member of the opposite sex. There will be a special prize for the fastest over 60s team.
