Join us for the Morpeth 10K & Juniors on Sunday 27th June 2027!
Starting and finishing beside Morpeth’s historic clock tower, this closed-road race offers a brilliant early summer challenge in the heart of Northumberland. The predominantly flat 10K route takes in key landmarks around the town before heading onto a picturesque 2-lap loop through the surrounding countryside.
The course is officially measured, making it a fantastic choice for runners chasing a new PB, while the supportive, community-led atmosphere makes it just as welcoming for those taking on the distance for the first time.
To keep the course flowing comfortably, the 10K will use two start waves. Choose the wave that best matches your expected finish time so you can run alongside others at a similar pace:
10K A-Race: Sub 40 minutes
10K B-Race: Over 40 minutes
The Junior Race gives younger runners the chance to be part of the Morpeth race-day experience, with plenty of support and encouragement from the crowd.

Come and join us for the Morpeth 10k & Junior Race, starting and finishing right beside the town’s historic clock tower. This closed‑road, predominantly flat route takes in Morpeth’s key landmarks before heading onto a picturesque 2‑lap loop through the Northumberland countryside.

Get full directionsPARKING/TRAVEL
There are several car parks and street parking located within walking distance of the event village. Please search Parkopedia to locate these.
PLEASE NOTE- Bridge Street, Oldgate (from New Market to Pretoria Ave.) and New Market (from Carlisle View to Manchester Street) will be closed from 6am.
Please plan your routes accordingly. If you’d prefer to avoid the town centre, we advise parking at county hall car park and jogging in to the event village (1mile).

Kindly be aware that a 90-minute time limit applies for this event to accommodate the reopening of local roads.
MINIMUM AGES
10k - 15
BAGGAGE
We will have a secure marquee where you can leave your baggage. We recommend you bring as little baggage as possible. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simply tear it off and attach it to your bag. To collect, show your number to our staff, and they will help you find your baggage.
TOILETS
Toilets are available in the event village.
REFRESHMENTS
There will be water provided at the 5k point of the race, and there will also be water available at the finish along with your post-race goodies and medal
RESULTS
Results will be available here immediately after the race.

We will have an official photographer at the event, please check out our photos page after the race.
