Route information
This super event is the perfect opportunity to run past some of London's most iconic locations.
Whether you want to run, walk, or jog the 5k, this event is fit for the whole family. Starting at Tate Modern, the event travels along the Thames Embankment, all superheroes will be able to soak up the iconic London scenery.
You will then go past Shakespeare's Globe Theatre and over Southwark Bridge, to the Thames's hidden paths of the North Embankment. After a run out towards the Tower of London and Tower Bridge, you'll cross Southwark bridge one final time, before running under the Millennium Bridge to the finish line.
This route is truly iconic and will be great fun for everyone.

Age Requirements
Runners must be 8 and older to enter the event. All runners between 8-18 run free but must run accompanied by an adult.
Super Hero outfit pick-up
You can collect your Super Hero outfit on the day of the event from 3:00pm at the registration area outside the Tate Modern.
Baggage
There will be no bag storage available at the event. Any bags left unattended will be removed and could be destroyed by local authorities.

Do I have to buy a superhero cape and mask for the Superhero in the City?
No, a bespoke medal, cape, and mask are all included in the registration fee.
Will there be a bag drop at the Superhero in the City?
No, there will not be a bag drop at the event but you are allowed to run with a bag.
Will there be someone taking photos of the event?
Yes, the organisers have arranged for a photographer and a filmmaker to capture the event. If you'd rather not be included in these please let the organisers know on the day of the event.
What colours do the Superhero costumes come in?
The mask and cape come in red, blue, black, and green, which you can choose at registration.
Are there kids Superhero outfits available?
Yes there are kids outfits available for children on the day. Kids are also welcome to wear their own outfit if they'd like!
Are the costumes at the Superhero in the City recyclable?
Yes, the outfits are recyclable and there will be recycling points at the end of the race for those who don't want to keep the costumes.
What is the minimum size for a group or team?
The minimum size for a group entry is 2 people. For larger groups please contact the organiser at superhero@tfaltd.co.uk.
Can I register children when I enter?
Yes, there are a limited number of places for children so you can only register 4. If you'd like to bring a larger group, please contact the event organisers to see if there's anything they can do.
Do I have to be part of a team to run at the Superhero in the City?
Not at all, runners can enter individually if they'd like.
