Run the Swindon Half Marathon on 27th September 2026

Join us for Road closed route through Swindon and the surrounding countryside, past the villages of Wanborough, Badbury and Medbourne. This route is mostly flat for the first 5 miles, miles 5-10 are undulating, before a downhill finish!

With a unique medal, post-event goodies and some local support, the Swindon Half promises to become a major fixture in the local calendar – don’t miss out!

By Car

The country park is accessible from the Coate Roundabout which is a 5-minute drive from Junction 15 of the M4.

Parking

There will be free parking on the Polo Ground, a short walk from the event village.

Age Requirements

Participants must be at least 17 years old on race day to compete.

Race Packs

Race Packs must be collected on the day of the event, before the start of your race, from registration. Please be aware that you will not receive anything in the post.

Bag Drop

There is a secure area where you can leave your bags, it is recommended to bring as little as possible. Make sure your baggage tag from your bib number is attached to your bag. To collect show your number at the baggage tent and the staff will find your bag.

Cut-Off Time

There will be a strict cut-off time of 3 hours for the Half Marathon due to road closures. Please ensure you can complete the course in this time.
