Route information

Set against the breathtaking and iconic backdrop of Burgh Island, South Devon, come and take part in a fantastic sea swim.
All races start from the slipway on the island, you can swim across, or paddle/kayak across, and find registration outside the pub to the right. Most people get the Sea Tractor to the Island, please be aware this can get busy and might be queues - you need to be on the Island on time.
The Nippers and Youth race is from the slipway, towards the Murrays and back in a triangle.
The Racing Swimmers will be setting off first, everyone will wade into the water, and set off as a mass start one the whistle goes.
The Charity Swimmers set off next, walking down the slipway as a trickle start, a few swimmers at a time.
The Youth and Nippers races will be fully life guarded.
