The Great Scottish Walk and Run Festival routes
The 5KM and 10KM runs take participants on a scenic, relatively flat route which tracks right out along the promenade towards Cramond.
This event is ideally suited for novices and experienced runners alike, which is part of what makes it so good.
Great Scottish Walk 10K
Walkers will follow a similar route initially to the 5k and 10K, making their way out along the promenade and along to the scenic Cramond Village. From here, they will loop back around along Barnton Avenue East & West, passing Silverknowes Golf Course. The final stage is along Marine Drive and finishes back at the promenade.
The Great Scottish Toddle
This is an event for children of 6 years or under also children in buggies welcome. Only the children pay for entry but Mums, dads, grannies older sisters or brothers can accompany the children on the toddle do not pay. All children receive a Great Scottish Toddle Medal.
The Great Scottish Tattie Run
Enter as an individual or as a relay team. Run one mile carrying a 20KG bag for men and a 10kg bag for the ladies.
