Frequently Asked Questions
Can disabled runners enter?
Yes, disabled participants are welcome. All we ask is that you clearly state what your disability is, along with any assistance that will be required, on your online entry form. If you require a guided runner, please email [email protected] who will be able to provide details on how to claim a free place for your guide.
Can wheelchair racers enter?
Whilst we are always looking for ways to make our events as inclusive as possible, we unfortunately are unable to accommodate solo wheelchair racers due to the steepness of some of the climbs and descents. We can allow a wheelchair user to take part if they are being pushed by a runner. We apologise for any disappointment this may cause.
3When will I receive my race pack?
Race packs will be delivered to runners who entered on or before May 8 and can arrive as late as the day before the event – so don’t panic! All those entering after May 8 will need to collect their race pack from the Race Pack Collection Point in the Event Village before 9.30am. You will need to bring photo ID and confirmation email. All overseas participants (regardless of when they entered) will have to collect their race pack from the Race Pack Collection Point in the Event Village before 9.30am on the day of the event. You will need to bring your confirmation email and proof of ID (e.g. driving licence, passport, etc.).
Can I run with my child in a buggy?
If you would like to run with your child in a buggy, please download and complete this parental consent form and email to [email protected] before Tuesday 1st May.
Can I listen to music whilst running?
We strongly discourage the use of any equipment that acts as an impediment to hearing or concentration when running. This includes, but is not limited to, mobile telephones, personal stereos and MP3 players. Please note we cannot be responsible for accidents resulting from taking part with such equipment.
Will there be a bag drop?
Yes. You will have a baggage tag on your race bib that can be torn off and looped round your bag before handing over to our Bag Drop Team in the Event Village. The baggage tag will have a number that correlates to your race bib. You will need to present your race bib in order to reclaim your bag so do not throw it away until you have got your bag back!We want you to be able to get some fresh clothes on before retiring to the Picnic in the Park with your family and friends to enjoy the entertainment on offer!
Can I bring my dog?
Yes of course! Whilst runners aren’t allowed to run with dogs, spectators are allowed to bring their four legged friends. Please make yourself aware of the rules of the Park as there are places where dogs must be kept on leads and other areas where dogs are not allowed: Dogs in the Royal Parks.
