Event Details

We’re closing London’s most stunning Royal Park to all forms of road traffic on Sunday 13 May 2018 so you and thousands of runners can take on the unique 10 mile distance within the world famous Richmond Park.

The beauty of the 10 Mile distance is that it bridges the gap perfectly between the 10K and half marathon, providing a fantastic challenge for runners of all abilities. Whether you’re a parkrunner looking for a step-up in distance, a charity runner looking to raise money for GOSH or a speedster on a mission to break the magical 70 minute mark, the London 10 Mile offers something for everyone (not least a new PB for most participants!)

As well as all the beautiful scenery, there’s a heck of a lot of fun involved too! From squirrel high 5’s through to tree surgeons rooting you on as they hang from the 800 year old oak trees, we’ve got loads of surprises in store to help keep a smile on your face right the way around the 10 mile route and long into the afternoon.

Participants must be 16 years old on the day of the event, May 13 2018. Runners under the age of 18 will need to be registered on the online entry portal by their Parent or Legal Guardian.

What Runners Receive:

1) Traffic free route, 2) Cool finishers’ medal, 3) Free event photos, 4) Live music, 5) Free kids’ entertainment, 6) Free yoga & massage, 7) Giving back to park run, 8) Finish line treats, 9) Personalized race number (With electronic chip timing & in-depth results analysis).

Runners wishing to take part in both the 10 Mile and 1 Mile Family Fun Run can do so but will need to enter both events separately and are required to finish the 10 Mile run within approximately 80 minutes to give you enough time to get to the Family Fun Run start line.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can disabled runners enter?
Yes, disabled participants are welcome. All we ask is that you clearly state what your disability is, along with any assistance that will be required, on your online entry form. If you require a guided runner, please email [email protected] who will be able to provide details on how to claim a free place for your guide.
Can wheelchair racers enter?
Whilst we are always looking for ways to make our events as inclusive as possible, we unfortunately are unable to accommodate solo wheelchair racers due to the steepness of some of the climbs and descents. We can allow a wheelchair user to take part if they are being pushed by a runner. We apologise for any disappointment this may cause.

Race packs will be delivered to runners who entered on or before May 8 and can arrive as late as the day before the event – so don’t panic! All those entering after May 8 will need to collect their race pack from the Race Pack Collection Point in the Event Village before 9.30am.
