Route information
The super speedy course makes for mega close racing, the 2019 race was unbelievably close - in both the male and female races the top 2 were separated by under 12 seconds, and the lead position changed hands multiple times throughout, and every year after has been equally close.
This is a fantastic off-road duathlon for all abilities, whether you are racing for the first time or you've been round the block a few time and you're looking for your next hit. The venue is almost flat meaning that the fast people go even faster but those looking for a confidence boost are in the perfect environment.
There are two distances to chose from in this off road duathlon, FullX and HalfX, both distances use very similar courses. The HalfX misses a short section of gravel road on the run and does less laps of the mtb route.

Age Restrictions
There are age restrictions in place at the event which are as follows:
- FullX - 16 and over
- HalfX - 14 and over
- Relay - 18 and over
Relay Entry
You may partner up with a friend to enter the FullX as a relay team. One team member will complete all of the trail running, and the other will complete all of the mountain biking.

Can I enter the TrailX Easter Off Road Duathlon on the day?
If there is availability, you may enter this event on the day. Please note that entry on the day will cost £5 more than the standard price.
What are the age restrictions for the TrailX Easter Off Road Duathlon?
Entrants for the FullX race must be aged 16 and over on the day of the event, and entrants for the HalfX must be aged 14 and over. The relay race for FullX is only open to those aged 18 and over.
How does the relay race format work at the TrailX Easter Off Road Duathlon?
You may partner up with a friend to enter the FullX as a relay team. One team member will complete all of the trail running, and the other will complete all of the mountain biking.
