Route information

Join us for the Twycross Zoo 10K on Sunday 13th June 2027!

Take on a brand-new road-closed 10K starting and finishing inside Twycross Zoo.

This unique race gives runners the chance to enjoy a memorable route through one of the UK’s most loved zoo settings, with the first and final sections of the course heading through the middle of the zoo before continuing onto fully closed roads.

Whether you are chasing a new 10K goal or looking for a race day with a difference, the Twycross Zoo 10K promises a fun, scenic and well-supported experience from start to finish.

Entry into the race will also include zoo entry after the event, giving you the perfect chance to make a full day of it with friends and family. Spectator ticket details are expected to be available soon.

PARKING/TRAVEL

There will be free parking available on site. We advise arriving before 8am, as with all major events you can expect queues on arrival.

CUT OFF

Please note there is a 90min cut-off on this race due to road closures in place.

MINIMUM AGES

BAGGAGE

We will have a secure area where you can leave your baggage. We recommend you bring as little baggage as possible. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simply tear it off and attach it to your bag. To collect, show your number to our staff, and they will help you find your baggage.

TOILETS

There will be portable toilets within the event village.

REFRESHMENTS

There will be water provided at the 5k point of the race, and there will also be water available at the finish along with your post-race goodies and medal.

RESULTS

Results will be available here immediately after the race.

We will have an official photographer at the event, please check out our photos page after the race.
