Will you conquer &#x27;the toughest physical challenge in the UK&#x27; - the Snowman Legend 71.6 this year?This epic race holds a special place in the hearts of everyone who has experienced it and features everything that makes this Always Aim High event one of the &#x27;must do&#x27; races of the season!Featuring a breathtaking swim in Llyn Mymbyr at Plas y Brenin (the national mountaineering centre), the competitors then take on a truly epic cycle through the heart of the Snowdonia National Park. For competitors taking part in the Legend 71.6 and Full distance races, the Snowman offers one of the toughest &#x27;runs&#x27; the UK has to offer - to the summit of Moel Siabod and straight back down to the finish line at Plas y Brenin! Sprint runners will race on a much flatter, but equally stunning course.

This event is a 500m open water swim in Capernwray Quarry, followed by a 20k road cycle and 5k out and back run on the Lancaster Canal towpath. It&#x27;s a fantastic venue for a great price, ideal for novices as a first open water event or elite competitors as a mid-week sharpener!It is super friendly and fairly relaxed, so are also an ideal way to take your first steps into Triathlon. We would like to welcome you to the quarry and are certain you will have a great experience swimming in the famous clear spring water.

The Capernwray Sprint Triathlon Series consists of 4 events, 1 per month in June, July, August &amp; September, each taking place on Wednesday evenings at 7pm (6pm in September). Each event is a 500m open water swim in Capernwray Quarry, followed by a 20k road cycle and 5k out and back run on the Lancaster Canal towpath. It&#x27;s a fantastic venue at a great price, ideal for novices as a first open water event or elite competitors as a mid-week sharpener!
