Route information

Wild Night Run - 10 Miles
This 10 mile route will be fully marshalled and will marked. A foldable, waterproof course map will be available at registration.
Starting at South Brent Old School Community Centre, the first 3 miles will get you stuck in with an uphill climb to Shipley Bridge. There will be a few downhill respites to enjoy as you then head out onto a tarmac section to Dartmoor. From here it's right at the Avon Bridge before the boundary stones, and onto nearly waist-deep bogs. The route then heads to Didworthy and up Diamond Lane towards Corringdon Ball gates and back via Aish Ridge and Lydia Bridge.
It no longer includes the notoriously muddy Brent Hill. This is a tough race and not for the faint-hearted.
Mild Night Run - 5 Miles
The Mild Night Run will be fully marked and marshalled to ensure all you have to focus on is the wild run ahead of you.
The route follows the beautiful river path from South Brent along to Shipley and is mainly uphill, with a few short downhill sections. The course then loops back around to descend a steep and rocky track, before rejoining the river path.
While still a challenging route, it's definitely one for less experienced runners to try their hands at something different.
