This event commences and ends in the picturesque Sussex town of Rye, before runners head out on a circular route into the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

This race certainly provides a challenge, however it will be well worth it for the epic views and the extensive historical landmarks for example, the Norman Churches of Rye, Iden, Beckley, Northiam and Peasmarsh.

With 1600ft of climbing throughout, this race is designed to prove a formidable challenge however, with both a 15k and 30k route this event really is open to all.

The Rye Ancients Trails 30k & 15k raise money for the Oliver Curd Trust.

The Race Headquarters will be at the Sports Centre. There is on site parking, which will be well signposted as you come into Rye.

By Public Transport

There is a railway station in Rye (Sussex), and the Sports Centre is located behind the railway station.

There are limited bus services available for the area.

09:30 Race start

* Please arrive at least 45 minutes before the scheduled race start time so that you have enough time to complete the registration process.

Race Packs

Entrants who have entered in good time will have their race packs sent in the post 10 days before event day.

Those who have entered in the 10 days before race day will collect their race pack at registration on the day of the event.

If your race pack hasn’t arrived, head to the registration desk at race HQ and you can be issued with a new one.

A full set of race instructions will be sent via email before the event.

Age Requirements

All runners for the 15k must be aged 16 or over and those for the 30k must be aged 18 or over.

Bag Drop

There will be a bag drop area at registration for you to leave your essential items. Please note that everything is left at its own risk.
